When Alvin Linton, CEO of Linton Corp, is severely injured, Hayley Linton saves him by donating blood. Grateful, Alvin offers to repay her—only for Hayley to call him her father in public. This sparks a journey to rescue her mother, Nina Sawyer, from an asylum. Though Alvin succeeds, Nina breaks down upon learning his true identity, accusing him of wasting eight years of their lives.
