On his deathbed, Leo Wyatt discovers his late wife, Phoebe Shaw, faked her death and spent his fortune on her lover, Jason Dean. Reborn on the day she "died," he reclaims his assets, erases her identity, and announces a new marriage—enraging the Shaw sisters. Phoebe returns with Jason to manipulate him again, but Claire Aster arrives just in time to save Leo.
